About Shahriar
Shahriar was born in Iran, studied at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School in Paris from 2015 to 2017, and after two years of professional training, he co-founded the First Round International Creative Platform. From 2017 to 2018, pursued his interest in scenography and spacial studies at the Laboratoire d'Etudes du Mouvement (LEM) at the Jacques Lecoq school. Back in Tehran, he gives many workshops and proves to be an excellent pedagogue.
He travels all over the world and particularly to Eastern Europe, where he is frequently invited to teach physical theater method and the practice of masked theater (Poland and Romania). As well as mask and physical theatre work, he teaches children and adults clown, absurd theatre and character creation. Within the professional program "Actor's Atelier " proposed by the Grotowski Institute in 2019, he has been able to continue his research with masters of physical theater and polyphonic singing (French, Polish, Danish, Russian, English and Armenian). He has been a member of IPAC since 2019.
